Anyone got any cool art techniques?

now, i guess you could say techniques, but what im looking for are cool reactions and textures that would make an awesome effect on paper or canvas or whatever. here's a couple examples : dripping molten lead onto a paper, buring holes in the artwork, glueing flat objects onto the paper such as coins or cards or whatever. anyone got any cool ideads?
