Is it unhealthy to be a loner?

I am quite content with my life and am happy without friends and have always been. This is all that matters. If you are happy being alone and aren't having psychotic thoughts you will do just fine. Some people though rare don't need others to be happy. Quite frankly I find that very liberating. I think some days I would like that life.
