What is your opnion on celebrating these so-called "graduations"?

...and neither did my folks. Just remember that this is the day and age where everyone gets an award just for showing up. I never heard of graduating from HS with an attendance diploma until about 25 ysr ago. This is one of the reasons our economy is in such bad shape buying and living above authentic means. I have friends that I never hear from unless the occasion is gift giving-babies(with no wedding,sorry I'm just old fashioned but when you have 3-4 babies and no wedding, please!), selling candles and gimgaws, showers, and those events you listed above. I have stopped buying or even responding. I guess I now have less friends but a little more money and peace of mind.
