Very few people actually even try to answer the questions that are put forth.?

Instead they seem to try to redirect the question in some way to make it seem trivial. Such as saying, "You think that's bad, well what about what so and so did?" Why can't people just answer the questions and then start their own about the other topic? This is a non-partisan question, it happens equally from all sides of arguments.
