Should my friend Mom have ask me this question at this time?

She's a mom. Moms multitask. Why bother interrupting discipline to ask a question? She is only seven, and the embarrassment could have been part of the punishment. If you're not comfortable, just let your friend's mom know you'd rather wait until she's done disciplining her daughter.
